Q. What's the process ?

Send us your desired photo/s with relevant information (see below)

We will review the image/s  & reply within 1-2 business days with any questions we may have & once we know exactly what you want, we will send a quote & estimated time frame for completion. 

Once you have a quote...

We require an initial deposit of 50% of the total cost to begin creating you're artwork.

We will only start creating the artwork once the initial deposit, 50% of the total cost, has been received.

All customers will be sent a preview image of the completed artwork, to advise us of any modifications or approve the artwork.
If you would like any extra progress photos please advise us of this, & we will be happy to accommodate.

Once you approve the artwork, we will organise how to have the work delivered to you or picked up.

Please note: Until full payment has been received all artwork remains property of the the artist.

Q. How do I send my photo/s in?

A. You can currently send us your images via our online form submission (click the button below)
or you can email them directly to

Q. What info do I need to send in with my image/s?

A.    Please provide the following information with the image/s:

1. Contact Details: 

  • Your first & last name
  • Daytime contact phone number
  • Email address
  • Postal address (if wanting work posted)

2. Artwork Details

  • Desired size & medium (eg. 18" x 18" acrylic painting)
  • Any requests you have (eg. photo editing, combining images, single colour background, don't paint pets collar etc)
  • Specify if you need work complete by a particular date

Q. How long will my order take?

A.    This depends on the size & complexity of the images, generally no more than 1-6 weeks.
        You will be given an estimated time once we can evaluate the images.

Please let us know if you need your order complete by a specific date. We will always try to accommodate.
With at least 2 weeks notice for smaller/simpler works, or 4 weeks for larger/complex works this should not be a problem.

Q. What if I am unhappy with my order?

A.    Please contact us if there is anything you are unhappy with, we try to avoid this by having you to approve the work prior to sending it

However, if you are unhappy with a purchase for valid reason, and contact us within 7 days of receiving it, you can send the work back to be modified
or receive a full refund (less delivery). We must receive the product within 14 days of contact.

Change of mind is not a valid reason.

Q.    Can you ship works internationally?
A.    Sorry no, we are currently only operating only within Australia.

Q.    Can you combine/use multiple photo's?
A.    Yes, if you send us all the photo's & let us know what you want done, we will happily combine/use multiple images.

Q.    What is a figure?
A.    A figure can be a person, animal, building or other highly detailed object, including a complex background.

Terms & Conditions

"we" "our" or "us" refers to Depict This

Our Responsibilities

Depict This will ensure that all products/services are provided in accordance within agreed timeframe (as noted on the invoice) and to a professional standard. 

Image Use

Depict This will use images of completed artworks in our online folio, with a small image of the original next to it for comparison.
We may also use small images of finished artworks in our promotional material. We will assume that you agree to this unless you tell us otherwise.

Period of Engagement

This engagement will start upon acceptance of the terms of engagement by you accepting these terms & conditions of our engagement.


In conducting this engagement, information acquired by us in the course of the engagement is subject to strict confidentiality requirements. That information will not be disclosed by us to other parties except as required or allowed for by law, or with your express consent.

Estimated Pricing

Unless otherwise stated in writing, any estimates which we provide to you of our anticipated fees, disbursements and charges for any custom artworks are only indicative of the amounts you can expect to be charged. Estimates are not quotes and are not binding on us.


Where quotations have been provided for specific services/products, these quotations will provide adequate detail of the timeframe and price.  In the event that circumstances of the services to be provided change from the original quotation, a new quotation between the two parties will be agreed upon before any further work is undertaken.

Copyright Policy

It is the sole responsibility of you to ensure the images provided are either copyright free or that you have permission to use and supply the images to Depict This. It is your responsibility to ensure that no photographs or other material supplied to Depict This are in breach of copyright laws.

Depict This warrants that you either own or has obtained copyright(s) or copyright permission to any image which is supplied to Depict This for use/reproduction and the customer agrees to assume full legal and financial responsibility for any copyright suit or action which may take place regarding materials you have supplied.

Dispute Resolution Policy

If the client is unhappy with a purchase for valid reason & contacts us within 7 days of receiving it, they can send it back to be modified at a negotiated price, product must be received within 14 days of dispute contact.
Change of mind is not a valid reason

Terms of Trade

The terms of payment are strictly a 50% deposit of the total cost of the agreed fee to be received before commencement of artwork being made. On the completion of the artwork you will be emailed images of the work, to give you a chance to make any changes. When both parties agree the work is complete, an invoice containing the balance of the agreed fee will be sent to you via post & email.

The remaining 50% of the total agreed fee is to be paid within 14 days of the final invoice date. An itemised account of all charges, costs and disbursements will be provided on the invoice.

Overdue accounts may incur a reoccurring administration fee of $20.00

If we incur any costs of collection, such as legal fees and collection agency fees etc., you agree to indemnify us for all such costs.  Terms of trade must be agreed to prior to commencement of sales transactions between Depict This and you.

All artworks remain property of the artist until full payment is received.
